In this episode of IUSD Unplugged, Assistant Superintendent Dr. Bernadette Lucas explores how partnerships and transformation are shaping the future of the IUSD. Board President Dr. Carliss McGhee joins YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles President and CEO Victor Dominguez and County Administrator Dr. James Morris to discuss the power of collaboration, including the YMCA’s return to Inglewood with a new $40 million facility designed to support health, wellness, and student enrichment. The conversation also highlights IUSD’s campus modernization efforts, with Assistant Superintendent and Chief Business Official Raphael Guzman and students Saira Moreira and Malachi Coleman sharing how these upgrades are transforming learning spaces and expanding opportunities for students across the District.
